Die ehemalige Gemeinde Gingsheim bildet seit 1. Januar 2016 gemeinsam mit Hohatzenheim, Mittelhausen und Wingersheim die Commune nouvelle Wingersheim les Quatre Bans. Sie war Mitglied der Communauté de communes du Pays de la Zorn.
